Paula Flippin is an ordained Christian minister and retired drug and alcohol counselor. She has over 20 years of experience speaking at church conferences, recovery support gatherings, Christian retreats, and correctional institutions. Her ministry has taken her across the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and South Africa, sharing a message of faith and encouragement. For the past decade, Paula has focused her work primarily on addiction recovery, bringing wisdom from God’s Word, practical insight, and inspiration to those impacted by substance use.

Paula wrote her book, A Season of Breakthrough: Four Strategies to Living a Life of Sustained Freedom, to chronicle her addiction to painkillers and the Biblical principles that brought her freedom. Her articles on addiction recovery have appeared in numerous print and online publications, including CBN.com and Charisma Online. Her addiction story was also featured in a video segment on The 700 Club, and her story appeared as the cover article in Simple Grace magazine. She has additionally been featured on more than 100 radio and television programs, including nationally broadcast shows such as Moody’s Midday Connection, Living the Life (ABC Family), and Lifestyle Magazine (TBN).

In addition to her work as an Addiction Recovery Speaker, Paula volunteers at Crossroads Recovery Center, facilitating substance use disorder groups both on-site and for clients who are incarcerated. She is an active member of the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC). She resides in California with her husband, Mark. Paula travels from LAX, RNO, and Las Vegas for speaking engagements.
