Matt Ousdahl is a pastor, speaker, and former entrepreneur whose life and ministry are marked by both bold risk-taking and deep reliance on God’s call.

At just 24 years old, Matt co-founded and helped build one of Delaware’s top marketing firms, leading a talented team and serving a wide range of businesses. After a decade of success as a managing partner, he felt God’s unmistakable call into ministry—despite having no formal seminary training, no ordination, and no prior vocational ministry experience. At 34, he stepped away from the business world to join Arundel Christian Church (ACC) as Pastor of Family Ministries. Only fourteen months later, he was asked to step into the role of Lead Pastor, a position he has faithfully served for more than nine years.

Under Matt’s leadership, ACC has experienced vibrant growth—averaging 20%+ increases in attendance and impact—while expanding its reach both locally and globally. His ministry is marked by vision, creativity, and a passion for seeing people grow in their walk with Christ.

Matt’s personal story is also shaped by loss and redemption. Growing up in Modesto, California, he faced the sudden death of his mother during his sophomore year of high school. Through that season of grief, the care and support of his church community became a defining moment in his faith journey and ignited a lifelong call to ministry.

For over 20 years, Matt has spoken at retreats, youth camps, main services, and conferences. His speaking covers a wide range of topics, including leadership, entrepreneurship, marriage, parenting, men’s issues, church growth, marketing, and relationships. He is equally at home teaching a biblical message to a congregation, equipping leaders in a workshop, or inspiring students at a retreat. Known for customizing each talk to fit the unique needs and themes of the event, Matt brings both authenticity and excellence to every stage.

Matt earned his B.S. in Religion from Liberty University and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Pastoral Leadership. He and his wife Melissa are raising three daughters and continuing to live out their calling to serve the church with joy and faithfulness.

When he’s not leading or speaking, Matt is usually solving an escape room (he’s completed over 100), playing Texas Hold’em with friends, or refinishing wood furniture in his garage. He and Melissa never miss their weekly Tuesday date night if they can help it, and the whole family loves to travel—especially finding a good deal on a cruise. His sermons are often peppered with references to his favorite restaurants, Chuy’s and In-N-Out, which always get a laugh and remind people that faith connects to everyday life.
