John’s journey is a testament to resilience and faith, shaped by the vibrant and often challenging environment of the south side of Chicago. As the youngest of four sisters.

John. While in his freshman year of high school, John experienced a tragic event. He had just finished a class in one building and was walking to another building for his next class when he heard a lot of commotion. He was directed to enter the building promptly and report to his next instructor. There he soon learned that another student had been shot. The student was innocently and unexpectedly shot by another student, and John had just left that exact area.

His early experiences attending church were foundational, but it was during his senior year of high school that he made a pivotal decision to accept Jesus as his personal savior. This transformation ignited a passion within him, leading to his active involvement in the church youth group where he discovered the power of storytelling through acting. Co-directing a Christian drama team, John found a unique way to express his faith, which eventually led him to join Agape Force, embarking on a nationwide tour that allowed him to share his message with diverse audiences.

To hone his craft, John sought opportunities at renowned theater schools in Chicago, notably The Second City, embracing every chance to better his skills with the ultimate goal of glorifying God through his performances. His journey was not without challenges, as he faced a brutal attack that left him hospitalized with numerous stitches on his face. Yet, this life-altering experience only deepened his conviction that God was with him through the darkest moments. Adding another layer to his story, John is also a cancer survivor, a battle that he fought with unwavering faith and determination.

Through these trials, John has cultivated a profound understanding of God’s goodness and grace. With his wit, humor, and exceptional communication skills, he now inspires people of all ages, sharing powerful messages about hope and the relentless love of God.
