A Message of Hope for Us All

These are strange times for sure. Could we have ever imagined something like the COVID pandemic impacting our lives the way it did in 2020 and now 2021? As we came into 2020 we were already challenged as a society by a number of mental health issues including depression, anxiety and loneliness. Sadly, suicide was already the #2 cause of death amongst adolescents in the U.S. And then, in roughly 10 months, COVID kills well over 350,000 Americans! Where can we find HOPE for a better tomorrow?

As a “man of faith”, Harold “Bud” Boughton believes that there is one answer to that question – Jesus Christ. A teacher and coach at heart, his three published books on life issues, leadership principles and coaching philosophy along with his many published articles and blogs have impacted countless lives. In a virtual environment (ZOOM Meetings) or in person, Bud’s positive message of HOPE can, and will, inspire your your audience/congregation. In his words, “We all need to understand that this is not our world. Ultimately, we are NOT the ones in control! But more importantly, we are all loved children of God and to Him, our Creator, our lives do indeed matter! This is God’s world and what we do with our lives matters to Him. Yes, there is an answer for finding HOPE in this life and that HOPE comes with a name – Jesus Christ.”

In many ways, Bud has lived a blessed life. A former Academic All-American football player, college football coach and Team Chaplain who has also worked for three FORTUNE 500 companies in his career, his many life experiences have given him a healthy perspective of the real world. But, he will be the first to tell you that he has been Beyond Blessed in his life but he, too, has experienced the sting of failure and disappointment.

As speakers and meeting facilitators go, Bud will not disappoint. He is a masterful storyteller who is highly creative and his energy is contagious. His “Be Brave” message resonates with people of all ages. Why? Because it deals with real life issues and he understands that in order to deal with those issues, we need to Be Brave! and have HOPE.
