Professor Stutz holds a masters and doctorate in earth science from Northwestern University and Michigan State University where he taught 4 years. He has for 30 years been a decorated full professor at California State University, authoring 6 Best selling College textbooks in his field used at 300 colleges and universities around the world.

He directs evangelism outreach at California State University concurrently with his professorship for 20 years. From a poor backwoods, fatherless family in East Tennessee, he now leads a nationally movement to evangelize the state universities, coast to coast, from the inside out, with lay people leading the charge.
