Dr. Steve Gentry serves as Lead Pastor of Village Church in Midlothian, Virginia, which he co-founded over fifteen years ago. With advanced degrees including a D.Min. in Expository Preaching and Teaching, an M.Div. in Theology and Apologetics, a Th.M. in Christian Apologetics, and an M.A. in Pastoral Counseling, Dr. Gentry is committed to preaching the full counsel of God’s Word without compromise. His messages are marked by clarity, urgency, and a battle-ready call to action—pastoral in shepherding hearts while refusing to soften the demands of discipleship.

Pastor Steve is known for his direct, urgent, and battle-ready preaching that calls believers to stand firm in spiritual warfare, lead biblically, make disciples, and engage the culture with grace and truth. His ministry emphasizes raising the next generation for Jesus, trusting God’s sovereignty in suffering, and finding godly contentment in Christ amid life’s battles.

Through powerful expository preaching and digital content, he equips the church to move forward in faith and build legacies that glorify Jesus. He is available for guest speaking, pulpit supply, men’s events, leadership conferences, seminars in doctrine and theology, and church gatherings focused on discipleship, leadership, family, and cultural engagement from a biblical worldview.
