My name is Pastor Brad Wortham. I pastor Encounter Church, a life-giving church outside Birmingham, AL. After attending Highlands College, I served 3 years as a Student Pastor and then went on to plant Encounter Church in 2019.  I believe that God called us to be “The Church”, not the Baptist church, the Methodist church, the Pentecostal church etc…. Real life change happens when we stop focusing on our religion and start focusing on relationship with God. I believe that Christians could make a real difference if we got outside our 4 walls, and we got outside our religion and we would just be “The Church”.
