Dr. Heather Clark teaches selfless Christian leaders the vital role of self-care while serving others to avoid burnout.

With 15+ years as a private practice psychologist, Heather has worked with numerous types of leaders including executives and business owners, pastors and ministry leaders, healthcare professionals, teachers, and parents. She is also informed by her own leadership experiences as a seminary and university professor, former women’s ministry director, speaker, and author. Her career of caring for this rich diversity of people has brought her to a firm conclusion: When leaders care for themselves their people thrive!

It’s essential for leaders to care for other people, but they often neglect their own needs – physical, emotional, social, and spiritual. Research shows well-meaning people are too exhausted and burdened to lead others with excellence.

Through her keynote addresses and customized workshops, Heather teaches leaders to prioritize their own self-care in order to be healthy while they serve others with excellence. Her presentations and workshops emphasize that leaders must:

·      have healthy perspectives and behaviors to pass along
