BIO:

Pastor Frank Vega, is Founder and Director of Philadelphia Inner City Missions, Pastor of Urban Worship Center of Philadelphia, Graduate of the Center of Urban Resources, and Inner City Impact Institute. He attended Gray Whitstone Worldwide Bible School. He is a member of the Philadelphia Leadership Foundation, and Christian Community Development Association. He is the recipient of several awards, The 1996 Community Service Award from Bennett Bowers Community Services Inc., City of Philadelphia Council Citation, 1997 Oseola McCarty Award of Excellence from the Center for Urban Resources, and The Urban Hero Award from Congress on the urban Family.

Pastor Frank came to live in the northern part of inner city Philadelphia from Puerto Rico at the age of two. he grew up hearing, knowing and eventually pursuing the sad realities of this inner city life. He would always strive for more ,but did not know what he was striving for. As time had pushed him forward, he ended up having to fight just to go to school and leave it. Eventually, he followed what he saw, he become involved in crimes and later selling drugs to support his habit. Even being in the Army in Korea, jailed in a Korean prison, and facing prisons here in America did not deter him. It was only by the power of Jesus Christ coming into his life that allowed him the freedom, peace and purpose he was pursuing. The same beautiful power that releases and atones for the sinful life that we all are born into.

Pastor Frank has been striving the last twelve years to be used to manifest the power of God in order that lives can be change. he desires to reach lives, whether addicts, prostitutes, youth or someone like you, with the truth of the Gospel.

Pastor Frank has by visionary leadership administered a rapidly growing dynamic ministry. A ministry that is reaching the people who many describe as ""unreachable"" or ""impossible"" with the hope only God can offer. He has accomplished this through crack and heroin houses outreach, helping people into detox; distributing clothing and blankets; feeding ministries, The Urban short-term mission project; Men's Discipleship Home; Metro Sidewalk Sunday School, Urban Harvest Crusades, R.E.S.T. and other areas that the Holy Spirit may guide. There are plans for The Philadelphia Restoration Center. Pastor Frank is believing God for a factory that will house this ministry and Pastors praying together for unity in the city.

Pastor Frank Vega has been blessed to travel throughout the United states and abroad proclaiming the word of truth to different parts of the body of Christ. The Stories and the struggles of the people are also his own.
