BIO:

Dr. Linda Smith - Christian, teacher, author, minister and wife. In partnership with her husband, Robert, she co-founded Free Them Ministries, Inc., an international Christian outreach. Together they also pastor PowerHouse Christian Center in Texas. Dr. Smith was ordained into the ministry of Jesus Christ in 1981 with a directive from God to set the captives free from their pasts, their false assumptions concerning God and His word, and the emotional barriers that have been placed between man and God.

With an earned Ph.D. in Christian Theology, and a gift for teaching, Linda presents the dynamic word of God in a way that personalizes the message for the hearer. Students come away from Dr. Smith’s classes with an excitement for the word of God and an ability to find out for themselves the meaning of the scriptures. Rev. Smith has served the church for over twenty-five years educating people of all ages with the Word of God. She has also served on the faculty board of Christian universities and was the Christian Education Director in several churches across America.

Linda uses the Bible, humor and her testimony to exhort the people of God seek a more intimate walk with the Lord Jesus Christ. Her ministry is a mandate to create spiritual maturity in churches, businesses and homes with anointed messages that glorify God Almighty. This minister of God is Holy Spirit filled and has a sincere desire in her heart for the Bride of Christ to be fully prepared for marriage to the Bridegroom.

As an author, Dr. Smith’s books and other literature have appeared in a variety of venue including Charisma, Spirit Led Woman, and Christian Women Today. Her first book, God’s Wife, the Bride of Christ, has been distributed world-wide. She is currently working on Corn, Wine and Oil, which explores the latter-day outpouring of God’s provision for the end-time harvest. Her sequel to her first book will soon be published under the title, From Bride to Wife, the Maturing of the Church.
