"Wow! I was blown away!" That is the response of one youth conference attendee having heard Pastor Roland Slater speak.

Pastor Slater received his undergraduate degree from Austin Graduate School of Theology, and his Master of Divinity from Dubuque Theological Seminary. He is currently completing his Doctorate degree in Communication Theology at Dubuque Seminary.

Pastor Slater has been involved for many years in youth and family ministry and has wonderful insights into the life of teens, parents, and men's ministry.

"My passion is to see people come to know Christ in a personal way and then grow in that relationship. I believe that many of us haven't even tapped into the power that is offered to us. Jesus wasn't kidding when He said in John 10:10, I came to give you life that is overflowing!"

Pastor Slater uses everyday examples from life to bring to light Biblical principles that can be applied to every day of life.

Pastor Slater has been married for ten years to his beautiful wife, Kathleen. They have two children: Tabitha, age 9, and Luke, age 4.
