BIO:
Andy is the
founder and president of the Deep In The Heart Leadership Group.
The Deep in the Heart Leadership Group enables leaders to
influence their organizations more powerfully and purposefully
through leadership speeches, workshops, retreats, intensives and
coaching. His work also gives him the flexibility to minister to
the Body of Christ through church gatherings, men’s retreats,
marriage conferences and family camps. Andy earned a Master of
Divinity from Western Seminary and a Doctor of Ministry from
Phoenix Seminary, where he taught in the area of personal
spiritual development and ethics. For the last several years,
Andy has worked in the marketplace as a conference speaker and
corporate trainer.
According to Andy, he is one of those “lucky guys who married
way over his head;” he recently celebrated 26 years of marriage
to his bride Lynn by realizing “the secret to a long marriage
has been to keep her so totally confused she still hasn’t
figured out what she got herself into!” Andy, Lynn and their
teenage daughter Drew moved to the beautiful hill country of
central Texas in 1999, where they eagerly don their cowboy hats
and boots to eat at Rudy’s BBQ every Sunday after church.
Indeed, while Andy grew up on the south side of Chicago and
spent many years in Phoenix, he now proudly calls himself both a
born-again Christian and a born-again Texan!
Andy’s background includes church ministry, teaching, and
serving with a Christian leadership development organization. He
is a gifted communicator whose transparency, graciousness and
humor help him touch people’s hearts with the truths of God’s
heart.
