BIO:
I am a licensed
Clinical Psychologist on staff with Sioux Falls Psychological
Services, a mental health outreach of North American Baptist
Seminary in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. My specialty as a
therapist in private practice is dealing with marriage and
family, men's issues, trauma, and psychological issues related
to Christian faith and practice. I am a graduate of Fuller
Graduate School of Psychology with degrees in both theology and
psychology. I have also served as a military psychologist in the
United States Air Force and have also served in schools and
prisons. I serve the Body of Christ by addressing issues of
church and personal integrity through teaching, speaking and
direct ministry in areas of discipleship, relationship and
family life in the church, and in areas of conflict within the
church. I see the Body as a distinctive people of God and am
interested in initiatives that foster that sense of being a
nation and a people. I am most interested in addressing areas of
long-term conflict amongst members of the body, and areas of
confusion within the body regarding God's will for us as a
people. I also maintain an interest in applications of biblical
teaching to a deep spiritual walk with Jesus. I have been
married to my wife, Lisa, for the last nineteen years and
together we have homeschooled our five children for the last
thirteen years. Lisa also holds a Masters Degree in Human
Development and is available to speak on childrearing and
homeschooling.
