BIO:

Ruth I. Johnson, M.S.W., grew up as a minister’s daughter. She has been an active church member, owns her own consulting business, and is a wife and mother. She has been a keynote speaker, retreat leader, and mediator in church settings and for non-profit organizations

For 25 years, she has traveled extensively throughout the country providing mediation and conflict resolution services for companies ranging from small businesses to large well-known corporations and state agencies. She has set up partnering agreements aimed to reduce conflict and litigation on hundreds of projects in over 15 states.

RETREAT AND KEYNOTE SPEAKER: Ruth customizes inspirational messages to help people come to a better understanding of the persona dynamics of relationships within the family and church. She offers tools that foster a greater understanding of God, self, and others within those human interactions. Ruth’s engaging and genuine speaking and teaching style focuses on peacemaking, conflict resolution and healthy community.

TRAINER: Ruth has facilitated more than 700 distinct training programs focused on communication skills, conflict management, team building, and negotiation skills.

MEDIATOR: Ruth has been a professional mediator for 25 years. She has provided mediation services for churches, individuals, businesses, public agencies, nonprofits and family members who are interested in reaching outcomes that will bring lasting resolutions.

TEAM BUILDING AND FACILITATION: Ruth offers expert team building and facilitation techniques that lead teams to higher levels of performance. Her broad expertise allows information to be drawn out from a group in an environment that identifies important issues, establishes effective communication practices, and provides guidelines for interest-based negotiation.
