Trading my sorrows would be my theme. We all have opportunities in life to sit in the poor little me circle and let life pass us by or we can walk by faith and move on in joy. After 6 months of caring for and watching my husband die little by little then followed by three months of the same with my mom, I was right there. I knew God had a plan for my life and I could embrace it with joy or let my sorrow consume me.

I had been working with women in West Africa and admiring how they make the most of every day and every opportunity. I decided to start a non-profit to build preschools, playgrounds and health facilities using these women. In 1 1/2 year we have opened a 2800 sq foot preschool, started a church, arranged for a playground and are breaking ground of the health center. This is just the beginning. One person can change the world for Christ one day at a time.
