BIO:
Jo Franz inspires
and motivates audiences to seek Christ with their whole heart.
Her love for the Bible challenges listeners to experience God's
presence in their life, while developing a deeper level of trust
in His powerful love. Through her own transparency women and men
alike learn how to relate to God as their Daddy with vulnerable
honesty. As Jo relates to their hurts, she passionately
encourages others to soar unafraid joyfully in their
relationship with Jesus! It's been said that Jo's amazing
devotion to the Lord and the remarkable testimony of His grace
through difficult circumstances encourages her listeners to
hunger for a heart which no stress or suffering can wear out.
Jo's memoir, Soar Unafraid, will be released in Spring of 2007.
Sitting across the table looking at Jo--who loves a life of
adventure--you would never guess she has lived with multiple
sclerosis since 1977. Nor would you expect to hear her marriage
of fifteen years ended in an unwanted divorce due to her
husband's infidelity. You'd be surprised to hear Jo needed to
deal with painful things after marrying Ray and becoming an
"instant mom" to his two young daughters. It would most likely
amaze you to learn Jo survived and overcame more physical
trauma. That she knows what it's like to have children stray
while you're on your knees praying constantly. Why would you
doubt all of this? Because Jo's uplifting, joyful heart
overwhelms you with the love she has experienced in her
relationship with God since 1972, and she nearly bursts with
passion to share it with you!
As a speaker, songwriter and recording artist, Jo has appeared
on numerous television and radio programs, including upcoming
"Water through the Word" broadcasts. During her presentations
she weaves in songs. Prior to her first marriage, Jo attended
the University of Colorado with a voice scholarship while
singing in nightclubs. Her stories appear in numerous books, and
she's contributed to others.
Besides speaking for women's retreats, large conferences,
banquets, and church services, Jo is a spokesperson for the
National MS Society. She has spoken as well for: Denver Seminary,
Stephen Ministry, TRYAD Ministries, Community Bible Studies,
Public and Christian School Assemblies.
