BIO:
Randy Dickson is a
nationally recognized speaker, trainer and author who has been
engaging, enlightening and entertaining audiences for more than
a decade. Whether it’s a one-hour keynote, a two-day training
course, or something in between, Randy’s offerings are derived
from over thirty years of in-the-trenches experience in public
service.
Audiences in over thirty states have come to appreciate Randy’s
unique presentation style, which includes the ample use of
appropriate humor and a process of engagement that allows
“attendees” to become “participants.” His clientele includes
local, state, and federal agencies, national and international
organizations, businesses, faith-based organizations and
associations, and lay ministries.
A former law enforcement officer and EMT, Randy honed his
critical communications skills in some of the most demanding and
difficult situations imaginable. He has served as crisis
counselor and as a trainer with local and national groups in
their responses to such incidents as the bombing of the Murrah
Federal Building, the attacks on the World Trade Center, and
thousands of crimes and critical incidents. But although he has
a very up-close and personal perspective of tragedy and human
suffering, his messages focus on the triumphs and healing that
are possible only through God’s grace.
Randy, his wife of 23 years, and their 15 year-old son reside
near Austin, TX. In addition to his work as a speaker and
trainer, Randy serves as a board member of a non-profit
organization and as a leader of his church’s Stephen Ministry
program.
