BIO:

A native of Washington, D.C., Dion L. Davis was born July 17th to the late Renee and Ray Davis. He attended The Duke Ellington School of the Performing Arts in D.C. where he majored in vocal music. Upon graduating from Duke Ellington, he enrolled at Fisk University in Nashville, Tennessee where he majored and received his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Early Childhood Education. Dion has also obtained his Master of Divinity from Howard University.

Dion Davis is a highly sought after, powerful preacher, motivational speaker and mentor. He was licensed to preach on Sunday, July 2, 1995 and ordained into ministry on Sunday, July 14, 2002 under the leadership of Pastors Willie F. and Reverend Mary L. Wilson, Union Temple Baptist Church, however; he has been preaching and serving in ministry since the age of fifteen. He is called upon to conduct youth and young adult seminars and conferences, client based workshops, and private organization and governmental consultation throughout the city and country. In the United States, Dion Davis has spoken in most rural settings as well as at such pinnacles of academe as Howard University and The University of the District of Columbia. He also served as a friendship Youth Ambassador to Amsterdam, Europe.

Dion Davis is the Founder and Senior Pastor of The Agape Christian Worship Center of Washington. A church committed to serving the community through educational, social, and spiritual enlightenment and enrichment. Dion also serves as the president of New Horizon Image, an organization designed to empower the masses through business consultation, personal consultation, inspirational publications, and preaching. He is the visionary and general editor of the publication of New Horizon Image entitled The Journey: An Anthology of Inspirational Affirmations, Writings, and Prayers.

Dion Davis is married to the lovely Coretta Thompson-Davis. God has blessed them with a baby girl - Moriyah Amira Davis.
