BIO:
Kim Davidson is an
inspirational speaker, teacher and freelance writer who is
encouraging, humorous and culturally relevant. In the midst of a
culture that celebrates youth, beauty and being thin, Kim shares
her personal journey, and talks about how her search for
self-acceptance nearly destroyed her life. Through humility and
vulnerability, she shares how she learned the secret to healing.
To look at her, one might think she's had it all together all
her life, but her story tells otherwise. For decades "fat, ugly,
worthless, insecure, unloved" was what Kim saw when she looked
in her mirror.
Kim teaches from actual experience. Her message will disturb the
comfortable and soothe the wounded while revealing that hope is
available. Kim shares God's promises and truths that we need to
know in order to find freedom from our pasts and from the
bondage of our culture's standards. As Kim recounts how God
picked up all her broken pieces and put the fragments of her
life back together, she will ignite your spirit.
Through struggles with rejection, a deadly eating disorder,
substance abuse, life-threatening illnesses, abortion, and the
bondage of corporate culture, Kim developed compassion and
empathy for the thousands of other women who share similar
hurts. Today Kim has found spiritual restoration, and has come
forth to say, 'I was there!'
Kim brings a message of hope to women of all ages. "My objective
and hope is to encourage each woman to see that she is truly
unique, beautiful, worthwhile and deeply loved."
Kim is the founder of Olive Branch Outreach an eating disorders
ministry. Today she reaches out to hundreds of women worldwide
to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ, and to make Him known by
presenting biblical solutions and teachings as part of the
healing process.
