BIO:
John is a former
decorated state trooper and had pretty much "seen it all".
Before coming to the Lord in 1998, he was able to talk three
people out of committing suicide, and had the feeling that
something was definitely moving in his life. His final "wake-up"
call came from God on November 7, 1998 and he was changed
forever. His personal testimony as well as his dynamic "straight
talk" messages leave no doubt about God's grace and forgiveness.
Mixing a bit of humor with Biblical references, John's calling
is to give an everyday perspective to his listeners in regard to
their faith. He is available for fill-in sermons or messages, or
as a guest speaker for any religious groups or service. His home
church is Salem United Methodist in Springtown, Pa., where he
serves as Song Leader and Assistant Lay Leader. He has been
trained as a Christ Servant Minister, and is a member of Salem's
PPR Council and Worship Committee. He has been married to his
wife Denise since 1975, and they have 4 children and 3
grandchildren. |
