BIO:

Vanessa Collins has over 18 years experience in church leadership. Her church leadership background includes teaching, evangelism (jail ministry), church administration (including finance and bookkeeping), and program coordination. Vanessa served as Head of the Women Ministry for 6 years and is currently on the ministerial staff of Redeeming’s World Church of Hammond, where Apostle Paul A. Southerland is the Pastor. She also serves as the Director of the Healing Rooms of Hammond, IN.

Vanessa has been an ordained minister for over 11 years. She has over 20 year experience as a keynote speaker, workshop facilitator, leadership trainer and conference coordinator.

Vanessa and her husband, Derrick Collins, currently reside in Dyer, IN with their three children. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology, graduating with honors. Vanessa worked as an Environmental Engineer for Amoco Corporation for 13 years. She left “Corporate America” in 1999 to serve as Administrator/Teacher for the Hazel Young Academy, which is a subsidiary of Redeeming Ministries.
