BIO:

Sandi Cleary Ph.D. C.B.C. Founder and Director of Spiritual Renewal Ministries. Spiritual Renewal Ministries blossomed out of a vow Sandi Cleary made to God when she was dying from an allergic reaction to medication used to treat an as yet undiagnosed illness. Six months after her life was spared, she was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. A week later she heard an evangelist give a message based on Luke 13:11, about the woman bent over with a crippling disease that Jesus healed. Sandi was touched to the very depths of her being with the thought that, if Jesus healed that woman, maybe He could heal her.

This began her journey into the Word of God, where she learned about the promises of healing for all who came to Jesus. Sandi was ultimately healed of MS when she learned to take God at His Word, and believe His promise for her healing, and to meet the conditions to have this promise fulfilled. Meeting the conditions was simply applying the Word of God to her life.

Sandi soon learned that by applying the principles contained in God’s Word, we can overcome any difficulty we encounter. She has dedicated her life to carry forth this message of hope After going through a ten-year Biblical study program, Sandi started SPIRITUAL RENEWAL MINISTRIES to meet the growing need for ministry to people who are dealing with life-interfering difficulties.

Sandi is a Certified Behavioral Consultant, and a Licensed Scripture-based Biblical Christian Counselor. She has been counseling for over twenty-five years. Sandi earned her Master’s Degree in Temperament Therapy, and her Doctor of Philosophy degree in Clinical Christian Counseling from Cornerstone University, Lake Charles, Louisiana. For her Applied Research Project, Sandi documented the specific Biblical solutions to the eighteen most common counseling issues, to help people overcome life-interfering difficulties, without resorting to mind altering prescription drugs.

Sandi is licensed through the National Association of Christian Counselors, is a Certified Behavioral Consultant, through the Institute for Motivational Living, and is trained in Critical Incident Stress Management. She also has certifications to treat individuals dealing with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Sexual Trauma, Attention Deficit Disorder, (ADD, ADHD) Substance Abuse and Addiction, Pervasive Developmental Disorder, and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. Sandi specializes in conflict resolution for relationship difficulties in marriages, worksite, and church upheavals.

All of her counseling is geared to training individuals, couples, families and groups on how to apply the Word of God to their specific life-interfering difficulty. Sandi is a member of the South Jersey Christian Writers Fellowship and has written, Out Of Darkness, Into His Marvelous Light - her personal testimony of how she was healed of Multiple Sclerosis, followed by a dramatic healing of what doctors told her was permanent brain damage, suffered in an automobile accident, For A Closer Walk With God - a compilation of Spiritual Growth Workshops; The Overcomers Fellowship Program and Leader’s Training Manual - the official materials and training guide for the SRM Overcomers Fellowship Program, as well as numerous training materials used in the counseling ministry.
