BIO:
Dr. Anna M. Caison
is a writer/teacher/speaker dedicated to encouraging believers
to press toward a experiential relationship with the risen
Savior. Her desire is to show how each situation and crisis we
face is a stepping stone to knowing Jesus personally. Dr. Caison
firmly believes that in order to be an effective representative
of Christ, we must first "know" Him, and the only way to know
Him is to take up our cross and follow Him. In taking up our
cross and following Jesus, we will encounter like experiences as
He did. It is in the midst of these experiences we will begin to
understand with great depth the love of God for us and mankind
that will transform us into vessels through which God's spirit
of love, forgiveness, mercy, deliverance and healing can flow
through to others.
Reared in church
by her mother and grandmother, Dr. Caison confessed Christ at an
early age and has over 30 years experience in Christian
ministry. She has been teaching for 28 years, 5 of which she
taught college level theological courses. She has served as a
jail and prison chaplain conducting religious services for
inmates, and has facilitated Spiritual Life Skills classes to
ex-offenders participating in her church's residential program
of which she also served as Administrative Assistant. She has
written several ministry tracts, brochures, and training manuals
(including the afore mentioned Spiritual Life Skills) used to
train other churches in developing Christian Residential
Programs as part of their ministry. She holds a Bachelor Degree
in Biblical Studies and a Honorary Doctorate in Community &
Christian Service.
