BIO:
I grew up lost in
a totally dysfunctional family involving abuse, alcohol and
drugs. At 18 years of age I had no future. I would never even
have finished high school except for divine intervention. I now
have a Bachelor's degree in Christian Studies from Cal Baptist
University, and am currently working on a Master's of Divinity
at the Haggard School of Theology at Azusa Pacific University. I
am devoted to using the life that God has so generously granted
me to serving Him through strengthening His body in the world.
The biggest need that I see in the body is for authentic
discipleship. We have lost what walking with Jesus is all about.
We talk about having a personal relationship with Him, but few
of us really have one. Discipleship doesn't just happen, nor can
it be achieved by agreeing to the need for it. It can only take
place by personal effort that is done on purpose. We need to
take responsibility for our relationship with God.
My testimony is about the tremendous difference one individual
can make in the life of another. God is personal, and we need to
get involved, be willing to get our hands dirty, to heal the
pain that is all around us.
I also speak on general spiritual topics according the need of
the church/group that I am speaking to. I have spoken about
hope, faith, relationships, dating, purity, evangelism, and
other topics.
I also lead worship music. I play guitar, saxophone, and sing.
I have pastored youth, taught and counseled in Christian
Education, lead worship teams, spoken at retreats, interim
pastored, and guest pastored.
I am currently interning as a pastor in Children's and Young
Adult ministries. I also work part-time at Big 5 Sporting Goods,
where my fellow workers often come to me for counsel. They have
traveled miles to hear me preach and have told me that I do not
fit the stereo-typical pastor image (I am more approachable and
open.) I think that I am truly respected by co-workers.
I Love Jesus!!!!!!!
