BIO:
Judy's love for
the Lord is evident as she teaches His Word and shares the road
she has traveled embracing His grace. Her transparency and
ability to honestly share her heart and love for God touches
lives through scripture, real life experiences and humor. People
are drawn to Judy because she is real. Her desire is that as she
share’s her life story, others will see themselves in God’s
story.
Judy’s first book, Embracing Grace, is an in-depth Bible study
with an accompanying teaching video on reconciliation with God,
people and the church. In this study, Judy’s journey through a
series of broken relationships and eventual restoration within
the church provides modern day examples with truths from God’s
Word to show why reconciliation is essential to the Christian
faith.
Judy’s second book, 30 Days of Sacrifice, was birthed out of
many years of crying out to God, “Lord, teach me to pray.” This
is the first of a series of relational prayer journals, rooted
in God’s Word, that teach not just how to talk to God, but also
how to listen while He shares His life.
As a young adult, Judy led a small prayer group in her local
church. Today she is still leading people in prayer. Whether
teaching a Bible study, speaking at a conference, writing a book
or having coffee with a friend, Judy’s passion is reconciliation
of relationships through helping people develop an intimate
conversational prayer life with the Lord through the power of
His Word.
Judy is a graduate of The University of Texas and The New
Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary with a Women's Ministry
Certification. She is a graduate of The CLASSeminar and UPPER
CLASS and a Certified Personality Trainer. Married to her high
school sweetheart, they have four children, two grandchildren
and are legal guardians to a young man in her husband’s Sunday
School class.
