WordWinds International is an Evangelical Christian organization founded with the single purpose of reaching the world's unreached for Christ.

We do this by supporting educationally and financially the work of national missionaries working in their own homelands and by encouraging like-minded Christians to give toward the funding of Bible translation and other projects being spear-headed by native/indigenous mission organizations.

WordWinds is the result of our becoming more and more convinced that current mission strategy would benefit from such a paradigm shift - away from sending out expensive Western missionaries, and towards empowering native missionaries to do what they are uniquely equipped to do . . . win their own people to Christ!

An ordained Baptist minister, Jarrette Allen is President and co-founder of WordWinds International. He speaks in churches, schools, homes, and small group settings from across the Christian spectrum about Bible Translation and how it is being used to reach the world's unreached.

Married since 1997, Jarrette and Cristiana have lived in Baton Rouge, Orlando, Lille (France), and Fort Lauderdale. They now live together with their two children, Evelynne Claire and Antoni Miguel, in the Houston area and attend church at Igreja Nova Vida.
